I made this as a side-project my final year of high school. It is not a complete project by any means, but it was a really fun learning experience. Fair warning, the game definitely has a lot of uncaught bugs, so if anything game-breaking happens, you will likely have to reload the browser page. 

The game is written entirely in JavaScript, so performance isn't great either. The art is hand drawn by me with lots of inspiration taken from online sources.
